This past Friday NBC News aired a story covering founder Anthony J. Sturdivant and the Think Before You Shoot movement as they walked through the west side of Chicago. 

A West Side filmmaker is putting his real life experience with gangs and guns on the big screen. He's making movies with very powerful messages. Art Norman reports.

Think Before You Shoot Attend Basketball Peace Tournament

President of Think Before You Shoot Anthony J. Sturdivant attended Father Pfleger's Peace Basketball Tournament September 19 at St. Sabrina to show his support against gun-violence. While in attendance Anthony was able to gain the support of NBA player Wayne Ellington, ESPN Sports Writer Scoop Jackson, Chicago's own and youngest NBA MVP ever Derrick Rose along with one of the greatest film directors ever Spike Lee. Anthony continues to work hard and network in order to bring awareness to the organization and the gun-violence.
